It will be a time to hang out and catch up with each other. (It’s okay if you haven’t been able to make it to Upward Challenge: Global Edition yet – we’d still love to have you join us!)
The Game of Things will be played. After all, UC:GE wouldn’t be UC:GE if we didn’t. We will worship together and spend time praying in small groups. We would love to know how to pray for you as a new school year gets going!

We would like to invite you to join us on Zoom for an online Prayer Mountain,
Saturday, September 24th, 10am-1pm EST
We are now looking ahead and making plans for the future. This involves Upward Challenge, but also other opportunities for ministry to youth and young adults. DFC’s primary call as a ministry is to provide venues where the Holy Spirit can work. That includes people of all ages, so creating a space where youth and young adult can be filled with the Holy Spirit and learn to cooperate with the Spirit is very important!
This ministry used to be known as YLD – Youth and Young Adult Leadership Development – but with the many changes over the last few months, we sense a need to hit pause and re-evaluate what our priorities are moving forward. This ministry is active in multiple countries so the invite for this Prayer Mountain extends past borders!
Some things we will be praying about:
· What will Upward Challenge (UC) (ages 12-18) look like in 2023?
· Is the Lord calling us to resume With the Wind (WtW) (ages 18-30) as a program?
· What other new programs or ‘containers’ might the Lord be calling us to put in place?
· Who is called to join teams in providing leadership/serving to make programs happen?
We will spend time in worship, discussion, and breaking out into smaller groups to PRAY!!! Specifically, about areas people might feel called to speak into (ie: UC, WtW, small group gatherings).
This is an exciting opportunity for all of us. We would love your participation! Please join us on Saturday, the 24th. If you cannot come but have some discernment that you would like to share with us, please email ashley@dfcanada.org before the meeting.
