Stephen Dunkin

Rev. Stephen Dunkin is a graduate of Queen’s University, and Knox College, University of Toronto. He has served Presbyterian Churches in Southern Ontario. In 2000 he helped found Barnabas House Christian Ministries, a prayer ministry centre in Kingston and serves as its Executive Director. 

Stephen and his wife Susan began attending the Dunamis Project in the spring of 2009 and were immediately attracted by the strong Biblical basis and practical nature of the teaching on the Holy Spirit. They have four children and two grandchildren. As well as encouraging others to attend the Dunamis project in Guelph, Stephen has run the Dunamis Video Courses at Barnabas House.

 

 

Les_Ferrier_w Les Ferrier

Les Ferrier was a member of the provisional board of DFC in 2005 and a founding trustee from 2006 until 2009. He has been a member at Kortright PC since 1986 serving in many volunteer positions including leadership in Cursillo and several committees and as a elder. Les and his wife, Barbara, led eight Dunamis DVD courses between 2004 and 2008. They lead the Facilitator training courses in Ontario. Les is the current Dunamis track director for Dunamis project Ontario.  

His previous experience includes 23 years as a leader in Scouts in Canada and the USA and 13 years as a soccer coach for youth. Les and Barbara have three adult children, Ken, Megan and Mike, and one grandson, Gideon, all living in the USA.

Professionally, Les is a biochemist, specializing in food sciences and product development.

Krysia P. Lear has felt a call to prayer from childhood. She lives in Guelph, ON, with her husband, Dana, where they on the prayer ministry team at Kortright Presbyterian Church. She is also on the prayer ministry leadership team. Krysia has lead small groups in Dunamis video courses and interceded at a number of Dunamis Projects. Krysia is a trained facilitator in Freedom in Christ ministry. A professional editor, Krysia has edited the Listening Evangelism video for the on-line Dunamis Institute course and coordinated the proofreading of the 1400-page Africa Bible Commentary. She earned a Bachelor of Theology from Ontario Bible College.

 

 

Nancy_Mostert_wNancy Mostert

Nancy Mostert currently serves DFC as Chair of the Board of Directors. She also serves DFC in the capacity of teaching and prayer ministry. It is a joy for her to see people grow in cooperation with the Holy Spirit and into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. God’s people are all in different places on their spiritual journey and within the Dunamis Fellowship it is a pleasure to give and receive encouragement on that journey.

Nancy lives in Hamilton, ON with her husband Henry where they raise their five children. Nancy is also a part time student at McMaster Divinity College.

 



Winston_Newman_wWinston Newman

Winston Newman was born in Jamaica in 1940.  After High School he came to Canada to study at Toronto Bible College (now Tyndale), University of Toronto and Knox College. He has served the Presbyterian Church in three different congregations, the last one for 28 years. Winston is married to Kathryn and they have four children and ten grandchildren. He now lives in Barrie following his retirement and is the Interim Moderator and the virtual minister of Ivy Presbyterian Church. 

Winston has been involved with PRMI over a decade.  He was part of the leadership group that sponsored the Dunamis project at Guelph in the late nineties, been involved with the Prayer Mountain events at the same venue and attended the three day Dunamis events at Burlington.  He has also introduced the Dunamis video format to his last two congregations with good results for their growth and ministry.

 
fred-2Fred Reitsma

Fred Reitsma and his wife Helen live in Brantford, Ontario where they worship at Hope Christian Reformed Church. Fred is presently clerk of council and prayer coordinator at Hope. Fred and Helen’s 5 daughters, 4 sons-in-law and 4 grandchildren live in cities in south western Ontario and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Fred was introduced to PRMI at a prayer conference at Hope in 2002. He has participated in the Burlington Dunamis Conferences and was on the prayer teams on 2 occasions. Fred is the Treasurer of Dunamis Fellowship Canada. In past years he has served as Treasurer of Brantford Christian School and Hamilton District Christian High School. He presently serves on the Classis Hamilton Finance Committee.

Joanne Rozendaal, our Ignite Coordinator for Western Canada, is a native of Edmonton and has recently retired from her position at Bethel Community Church. She has a passion to serve God with excellence, and enjoys studying His word. In 2005 she ambitiously cycled 7120 kilometers across Canada in the summer of 2005.

 





Ray_Vander_Kooij_2_wRay Vander Kooij

Ray Vander Kooij serves as Ignite Renewal Advocate – Eastern Canada, including leading and teaching on Ignite teams.  Ray lives with his wife, Sue, and children Matthew and Kendra in Acton, Ontario, where he serves as Senior Pastor of Bethel Christian Reformed Church. Ray’s involvement in the ministry of PRMI and Dunamis includes participation in the St. Thomas Dunamis Conference series and serving on the planning team providing leadership for the Burlington Dunamis Conference series. He and Sue are on this journey together, including taking the Advanced Healing & Deliverance Course with PRMI in 2003. Ray has a heart for seeing churches ignited in the power of the Holy Spirit in a way that gently works its way through the church body. He also loves participating in inner healing ministry and seeing God transform lives and relationships!
